The group has collaborated with Lucas Spinosa of Black Sheep Coffee Roasters for the band’s very own signature coffee. “It’s regular rotation, which is huge for us,” Taylor said.īut it’s not just music the band has been up to. Hamilton’s Y108 and FM96 in London, Ont., added “FOMO” to their playlists. Two songs - “Back to Life” and “FOMO” - are already out in advance of the new record and the latter is taking the band into some unchartered territory with mainstream radio stations taking notice. “It's almost like a backwards pre-release.” “The album is going to come out very gradually, which helps us with the algorithms,” Taylor said. For streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, songs will be released one at a time, once a month. So what the band is doing this time around is making physical copies of the record - on CD, vinyl and download - available on April 13. “And then a few months later, then streaming would forget about the fact that there's been 10 whole songs released all at the same time.” ![]() ![]() “What we used to do in the past is we’d just release it to the whole world, in one big chuck,” Taylor said.
